And they shared lots of laughs and good ribbings in the process.Marshall has an impressive persona. He is articulate Stitched J. J. Nelson Jersey , fiercely loyal and passionate. When asked if Peyton Manning ever got the special treatment from the Broncos during their Super Bowl run (the way Big Ben is supposedly getting), Marshall nipped it right in the bud, saying that if Peyton did, nobody knew it, because Peyton worked as hard as anyone else and he was one of my all-time favorite teammates.Marshall spoke very highly of Case Keenum and wished him well in Washington. Again, Marshall lauded Keenum’s dedication to the game and to the team. When McGinest asked Marshall what team he would like to go to, Marshall said he wants to go to a team where there is an established culture for winning. Uh oh. Right then it was hard to believe he was talking about the Cardinals, alas.However, as McGinest and he were projecting where free agents would wind up and then conducting their top 10 mock for the draft, Marshall seemed to be talking about two teams more than any other—-the Ravens and the Cardinals.The Ravens appear to be willing to let C.J. Mosley enter free agency. They have very limited cap space and some pundits believe their top free agent target is S Landon Collins. If they move on from Mosley, Brandon Marshall might be the affordable replacement. Just on a side note—-it always seems that whenever the Ravens move on from one of their best players—-the draft sets up perfectly for them to take that player’s replacement. In this case, sitting at #22 they are likely to be in a prime position to draft LB Devin White (LSU) or LB Devin Bush (Michigan). In the free agency segment, Marshall was very high on the Ravens signing UFA RB Mark Ingram (Saints) and felt that would a great coup for both Ingram and the Ravens.But Marshall had a couple of interesting projections for the Cardinals. He has them signing WR Golden Tate (Eagles) as what he calls the “perfect compliment to Fitz and Kirk.” He also believes the Cardinals should and will take QB Kyler Murray in the draft. Willie McGinest concurred and they put Murray at the top of their mock draft.McGinest said that the three teams that he thinks makes the best sense for Brandon Marshall are Arizona, Baltimore and Los Angeles (Chargers) Marshall seemed to be pleased with the all three choices.One might guess that Marshall, like many Cardinals’ fans, is wondering if the Cardinals are going to make a big push to sign C.J. Mosley, which in that case could open the door for him in Baltimore. And the door in Los Angeles would open if the Chargers don’t re-sign Denzel Perryman.On a curious note, prior to their mock draft in which McGinest and Marshall alternated making choice for the top 10 teams Youth J. J. Nelson Jersey , McGinest, when asked what he thought about DE Nick Bosa, said that to him Bosa looks “manufactured” and “didn’t look natural or comfortable in the drills at the Combine. He said Bosa is good, but not as dynamic a pass rusher as his brother Joey who is taller and more natural in his movement and technique.During the mock draft, Willie McGinest selected Kyler Murray for the Cardinals at #1. Marshall had DT Quinnen Williams going to the 49ers. McGinest and Marshall had three edge rushers going ahead of Bosa (Montez Sweat, Josh Alllen and Rashan Gary), with the Lions taking Bosa at #8.That is contrary to everything we’ve heard about the 49ers’ lust for Nick Bosa.A couple of weeks ago after comparing game tapes of Bosa, Allen, Gary and Sweat, the one who jumped out at me was Sweat, because of how quickly he can convert power to speed. His numbers at the Combine confirmed his superior physical talent.I think that if the Cardinals can seal the deal with C.J. Mosley, they should hop on Brandon Marshall. I think his leadership, loyalty and work ethic would make him an excellent fit in the locker room and on the field in Arizona. And the remaining schedule is formidable for the Cardinals.They play at the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, followed by a trip to Green Bay the following week. Rosen had only nine completions in 20 attempts for 136 yards.“I think a lot of it is just the mental errors across the board on offense and defense,” Rosen said of the team’s performance. “I know I had a bunch. Just little mental errors that aren’t a part of the game plan. Dumb little things we just have to clean up overall.”Why is a team making those mistakes 10 games into a season?
